Join us for an Upcoming Event!

Join the Boulder Library Champions as we shine a light on the City of Boulder's budget and how to secure sustainable funding for our library.

This is an opportunity for informal discussion and Q&A about how the budget works, where money is being spent, why shortfalls are looming  - and the impact of new programs and services that are added to the workload with the election of each new City Council.

City Council candidates have been invited to join in the discussion. Community members are welcome!

These documents will be the launching point for discussion

Scoop on Boulder's Budget - a plain-English explanation of how the city budget is organized, why revenue shortfalls are anticipated, and what unfunded needs were  identified by city departments earlier this year.

Scoop on Sustainable Funding for Our Library - a review of our library's unfunded needs and how forming a library district can fully fund our library while helping the city budget.
